Making of BL Babe

I coined the phrase “I’m just a BL Babe” back when I fell headfirst into a months-long binge of every OG Thai BL I could find. That era changed me. Then I widened my horizons—Japanese BLs with their quiet chaos, a sprinkle of Korean elegance, and eventually the wild, emotional brilliance of Taiwanese BL.

That’s when everything leveled up. I sacrificed sleep, lived on snacks and serotonin, shipped couples like it was a full-time job, and proudly moved into my permanent residence in delulu-ville. Somewhere in that wonderfully unhinged journey, I also discovered my Thai husband: Boun (aka Boun Nappanut Guntachai)

BL didn’t just entertain me—it rewired something in my soul. It gives me joy, depth, connection, and a kind of storytelling that domestic TV could never deliver.
